Publisher's orange cloth, spine and cover lettered black. Pictorial dust jacket. The author's second mystery and second Rex McBride hard-boiled detective novel, follows "Sabotage".
Book Condition: Near Fine: A very firm square signed copy. Bright cloth with some fraying to the cloth at upper corner tip.
Dust Jacket Condition: Good: The dust jacket is quite nibbled with an almost two-inch loss to spine bottom and several inch-wide or less open tears to corners and edges. Original $2.00 price intact. Protective clear cover.
Notes: Not famous like his friend Raymond Chandler but with his own brand of hard-boiled detective story. Adams died suddenly in his early 50s.
