A story of jealousy and horror. From the jacket: "Jealousy, which sweeps everything -finally life itself- before it, is the central theme of this book. A diabolical process, less elaborate than the devices of medieval witchcraft, achieves the victim's destruction no less effectually; but belief in the story's crescendo of horror is forced on the reader by the sincerity of the writing. The public which Mrs. Nicholson won for herself with "Hell and the Duchess" will not have waited in vain for this book."

Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good: Price-clipped. A bright jacket with moderated chips to edges and tanning to spine. In clear protective cover. Unrestored, original DJ.
Notes: Title included in ISFDB. C.A. Nicholson also published Hell and the Duchess.
