Features: First edition. One of only 12 copies the author had bound by Antiquarian Bookcrafts of Dublin for use as presentation copies. This is McCaffrey's own copy, she added a limitation page to the copies she had bound, but since this is her own copy she did not number or sign it. Bound in full red leather, the spine has five raised bands, spine and front cover stamped in gilt and black, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Comes with a copy of the letter of provenance from the author's daughter stating: ""This book was part of Anne McCaffrey's personal library."" From the collection of Barry R. Levin Science Fiction & Fantasy Literature.
Book Condition: Fine: A beautiful pristine copy. Unread. The book was unwrapped from the estate's packaging (see pic) for this listing. The wrapping paper discarded. The book is now protected in an archival mylar sleeve.
