The story revolves around Hatim, the Prince of Yemen, who went on a journey to solve the 7 riddles. Includes two letters, the first of which is from a Soho artist named "S. Ghosh." The second has the recipient, Arthur Henderson, who was a highly influential British Labour politician who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1934. In May 1932, he was serving as the President of the Geneva World Disarmament Conference (convened by the League of Nations). The other letter printed on the back of the aforementioned explicitly ties back in that the sender states that an "eminent Artist" has agreed to paint a massive, life-sized allegorical piece titled "The Peace Conference". They reference that this artist recently finished paintings for Her Highness The Maharanee of Cooch-Behar (a prominent princely state in India). Given the Indian surname, this strongly implies S. Ghosh is the exact artist being championed in this letter.

Book Condition: Good: Wear and rubbing.
