This includes the drawing that came with the deluxe edition of 100 copies to which have been added 5 additional drawings and an original oil painting by Roy Krenkel. The oil painting was recently discovered in the archives of the Krenkel Estate and has to our knowledge never been reproduced before. The painting was most likely executed in the early 1960s and is a fine study for a major painting that may very well have never been carried out to full fruition. It will appear in the second volume of Roy G. Krenkel Father of Heroic Fantasy currently in preparation. This volume with the added artwork is unique and only 4 other copies of the deluxe edition of this book have added artwork. Each of these volumes has been signed and double-lettered by the trustee of the RGK Estate and each drawing has been titled on the back of the drawing and signed in pencil by the trustee further insuring its authenticity. The extra drawings included with this volume are as follows... 1) Sabretooth and Elephants in a Bog - ballpoint pen (this is the drawing that was included in this copy of the deluxe edition). 2) Dejah Toris - brown marker. 3) "Once More I set to work to fabricate a bow" Burroughs [inspired by] illustration  - pen and ink. 4) Opar - a drawing for Cities and Scenes - ballpoint pen. 5) A Princess of Mars Burroughs [inspired by] drawing - pencil. 6) A Victorian Studio - ballpoint pen,  titled and initialed by the Artist. 7) Hunter and Huntress - oil painting.
